What can I use Documents for?
The Documents feature in BOP lets you upload and share business documents directly with trading partners you already work with on the platform. It replaces the need to send files via email or external file-sharing services, keeping reference materials centralized and easy to find.
Typical use cases:
- Shipping instructions from Buyers to Manufacturers
- Code of conduct, supplier guidelines, and compliance documents
- General instructions and reference materials partners need ongoing access to
- Templates and other reusable documents
What not to upload here:
Documents is intended for general business documents and templates. Product-specific data should not be uploaded or shared through this feature.
Supported file formats: Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xlsx), and PDF.
Please note: Documents is an organisation-level feature, not a personal one. All documents uploaded by anyone in your organisation are visible to every user in the organisation, and any user can upload, organise, share, rename, move, or delete them. Likewise, documents shared with your organisation by trading partners are visible to all users in your organisation.
